ZWG tokyoでは、2026年3月13日から4月12日まで、「Rose Wong 王滢露」個展「日常白昼無常の夜（The Poetry of Everyday and the Impermanence）」を開催いたします。

彫刻や絵画を通して、Rose Wong は、現代女性が揺れ動き続ける「過渡的な状態」を描いている。それは、執着と手放すこと、精神性と現実社会、混沌と秩序といった相反するもののあいだで迷い、行き来する姿である。単調に繰り返される日常のなかで、ふと立ち止まる瞬間に感じる「無常」。

曹操の《短歌行》にある「譬へば朝露の如し、去る日は苦だ多し」という一節が示すように、人生は朝露のように儚く、過ぎ去った日には多くの思いが残る。こうした感覚のなかで、日常と無常は対立するものではなく、静かに語り合いながら入れ替わっていく。

本展では、女性たちの姿を身近で親密な存在として、同時にどこか英雄的な存在として描き出す。酔いしれた詩人が自らを癒やす風景を紡ぐように、その作品はまず作者自身を、そしてやがて鑑賞者をも癒やす風景となっていく。

視覚芸術家、アートと教育の研究者、児童文学作家。

1988 年中国香港生まれ。2012 年香港大学文学部の比較文学および美術専攻卒業。13 年ロンドン大学ゴールドスミス校修士卒業。現在、ロンドン大学ゴールドスミス校にて博士号取得中。社会的実践としてのアート、芸術の物質性、関係性の美学、芸術教育学を研究している。ロンドンと北京を拠点に活動。

Overview:
ZWG tokyo is pleased to present Rose Wong 王滢露’s solo exhibition “The Poetry of Everyday and the Impermanence”, on view from March 13 to April 12, 2026.

Through sculpture and painting, Rose Wong portrays the “transitional states” experienced by contemporary women—states shaped by constant oscillation between attachment and release, spirituality and social reality, chaos and order. Within the repetitive rhythms of daily life, she captures those fleeting pauses in which one becomes aware of impermanence.

As expressed in Cao Cao’s Short Song Style—“Life is like the morning dew; the days that pass leave much sorrow behind”—human existence is as ephemeral as dew at dawn, while what has passed lingers with layered emotions. In this sensibility, the everyday and impermanence are not opposites; rather, they quietly converse and transform into one another.

In this exhibition, women are depicted as intimate and familiar presences, yet also as subtly heroic figures. Like a poet intoxicated with verse who composes landscapes to heal the self, Wong’s works first become spaces of solace for the artist herself—and gradually, for the viewer as well.

Rose Wong 王滢露

Visual artist, researcher in art and education, and children’s literature author.

Born in Hong Kong in 1988, Wong graduated in 2012 from The University of Hong Kong with a degree in Comparative Literature and Fine Arts. She completed her Master’s degree at Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2013, and is currently pursuing a PhD at Goldsmiths. Her research focuses on art as social practice, materiality in art, relational aesthetics, and art education. She is currently based between London and Beijing.
