ZWG tokyoでは、2026年1月23日から2月15日まで、藤田つぐみ（Tsugumi Fujita）× 甘甜（Tian Gan）2人展「Layered Memories｜かたち・色・こころのゆくえ」を開催いたします。
本展では、同時代に東京藝術大学で学び、絵画という表現を通してそれぞれの内面と向き合ってきた2人のアーティストによる、近年作約10点ずつの作品を展示します。
藤田つぐみは、個人的な記憶の断片や言語化できない感覚、多層的な意識の状態を、絵画における〈依代〉として立ち上げます。名づけることのできない感情や知覚にかたちを与え、内面の風景を可視化しようと試みています。
甘甜は、日本画の古典技法や絵巻に着想を得ながら、構図に内在する時間性やリズムに着目。身体感覚や日常の観察を起点に、静かで繊細な感情や物語を、余白を生かした画面の中に丁寧に描き出します。
本展は、異なる文化背景を持つ2人の絵画表現を通して、構図・色彩・知覚の「層」とそのつながりを探る試みです。

Overview:
ZWG tokyo is pleased to present Layered Memories | Forms, Colors, and the Movement of the Mind, a two-person exhibition featuring works by Tsugumi Fujita and Tian Gan, on view from January 23 to February 15, 2026.
Both artists studied painting at Tokyo University of the Arts during the same period and have continued to engage deeply with their inner worlds through painterly expression. This exhibition presents approximately ten recent works by each artist.
Tsugumi Fujita approaches painting as a kind of yorishiro—a vessel that gives form to fragments of personal memory, sensations that resist language, and layered states of consciousness. Through her work, she seeks to visualize inner landscapes by assigning shape to emotions and perceptions that cannot be easily named.
Drawing inspiration from classical Japanese painting techniques and narrative scrolls, Tian Gan focuses on the sense of time and rhythm embedded within compositional structures. Beginning with bodily sensation and everyday observation, she carefully depicts quiet, subtle emotions and narratives within compositions that make deliberate use of negative space.
Through the paintings of two artists from different cultural backgrounds, Layered Memories explores the layered nature of composition, color, and perception, and the connections that emerge between them.
